What are you going to do:
The Secret Boxing Gym is looking for a Gym Marketing and Operations Manager to join the team and its unique community of gym members at our exclusive location in London Bridge.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious and self- motivated individual to work within an exciting environment, striving for excellence with a view to maximising revenue and the overall growth of the gym.
- With experience or knowledge of sales and marketing you will structure and lead initiatives to increase revenue and reduce expenditure. With a hands-on management style, we are seeking an individual who can lead by example, roll their sleeves up and get stuck into administering operational practices to ensure that members have the best experience from all that the gym has to offer.
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the gym, you will manage and lead a small team of front of house staff. You’ll be responsible for setting team and individual targets and working alongside directors with weekly/monthly meetings updating on finance reports, KPI’s and reviewing class delivery. In addition, you will support and manage the trainer schedule and booking system to ensure smooth running of class schedules.
- You will manage and ensure that cash handling and purchasing procedures are adhered by all team members and you will work alongside the finance officer in managing payroll, invoice payments, banking and budget spend.
- You will be required to continue the development of community and corporate networking, creating partnerships and opportunities for bespoke bookings and memberships amongst target groups.
- You will manage and report any maintenance issues and will build a directory of contractors to support with repairs/maintenance of equipment.
- You will be responsible for developing trade partnerships to improve expenditure and ensure value for money from suppliers
- You will also be responsible for maximising the gym’s potential as a hire venue and will develop a marketing strategy to cement ‘The Secret Boxing Gym’ on all relevant social media platforms.
