We are looking for Code Senseis (tutors) to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working towards our common goal of providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Senseis are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas club.
Who are we?
Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing children’s coding centre. Kids learn to code in a fun way by playing and building video games they love. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, maths, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt.
We don’t have a classroom, we have a Dojo. We don’t have teachers, we have Senseis. We don’t have students, we have Ninjas.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for Code Senseis to to oversee the day-to-day coaching and student engagement at our after-school club.
Responsibilities include:
● Tutoring the Code Ninjas curriculum - FULL training for tutors is provided, in-depth prior knowledge of coding is NOT required, but a willingness to learn is
● Create a fun, positive environment in which students can grow
● Provide feedback to parents on their children’s progression
● Daily opening/closing and maintenance duties of the Dojo
What makes a good Sensei:
● Love of inspiring children ages 5 and up and communicating clearly
● Pro-active attitude, works well within a team, able to make lessons engaging and fun
● Brings a fun and positive energy to the Dojo

Working with Code Ninjas is a great place to gain work experience applicable for many different industries, and the job is flexible around students' personal studying requirements.
Roles will commence in mid-January, part-time in after-school hours (Thursday and Friday, and Saturday day-time). Shifts are flexible around your own educational priorities.
We also run camps in the school holidays offering extra hours.
