Work as a Senior Nurse in Guildford
Are you the nurse that we need? We are you looking for a Senior Nurse to work with one of the UK most prestigious hospital groups on their surgical ward. The role comes with a salary of £38,000 and a generous benefits package.
As a Senior Nurse, you will cover a shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week. You will ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:
Work to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users
Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and consultants, acting as an advocate to more junior team members
Where appropriate, deputise for the Sister and the lead on clinical shifts.
To apply for this Senior Nurse role, you will need to be a RGN, you will also require the following:
Previous surgical ward experience
Evidence of relevant clinical professional development, preferably evidenced by RN certification with valid NMC Registration
Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent) and awareness of the NMC Code of Accountability
Excellent clinical applied knowledge, evidence-based and taking account of national best practice standards.
