We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (Gas Manager) to join our Asset Management Team. They will act as a single point of contact for the project management of annual planned and cyclical maintenance work of gas, heating, hot water and other
M&E projects. Making sure bpha is compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements and that Health & Safety policies are followed keeping customers, staff and contractors safe at all times is of paramount importance. This will be achieved through building
strong internal and external relationships to manage stakeholders effectively.
What you will be doing:
To act as a single point of contact for the project management of planned, cyclical and legislative safety and maintenance work of gas, heating, hot water and other M&E projects.
Line managing team members delivering projects
To ensure that bpha discharges the legislative and regulatory duties.
To ensure all Health & Safety policies, legislation, guidance and procedures are followed keeping our customers, contractors and staff safe.
To engage and build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contract manage external supply chain partners to ensure that bpha plans and undertakes such work in accordance with bpha operational plans, contract requirements and statutory
obligations.
To work with other members of the Property Services Management Team and Finance Team to manage and report annual planned and cyclical maintenance budgets.
We’d love to meet someone with:
Ability to identify trends and through structured processes ensure these are actioned and managed to completion.
Experience of managing people, with at least 3 years recent continuous experience
Completion of the Gas Accredited Certification Scheme or other recognised gas management qualification
Experience of managing budgets
A good working knowledge of Asprey, Microsoft Office software, CRM, Keystone, or other compliance/Social Housing software
To demonstrate excellent customer care skills and show an understanding of and commitment to equality and diversity, in all aspects of the role.
Ability to work flexibly, without guidance but also be committed to work in a positive manner with both internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues affecting residential properties (e.g., asbestos, electrical, gas, lifts, water hygiene) and understanding of construction health and safety legislation (including CDM 2015).
