Our small and friendly, owner-managed client are seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to provide internal sales support to the Sales Director and the external sales team. They work within the FMCG space so they are always busy and coupled with their significant growth in recent years this means the need to add someone to their team for 2024 is essential! They are based on the outskirts of Cheltenham and you will need your own transport as they are not accessible by public transport. Hours of work for this Sales Administrator opportunity are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Day to day as the Sales Administrator you will be required to: Accept and process incoming customer orders from the external sales team Process all sales orders, purchase orders and manage goods received Maintain stock control and implement new procedures for new stock as it arrives Assist the Sales Director with any queries and enquires on new products Source and arrange couriers and outside transport to ensure deliveries reach the customer in a timely and cost efficient manner Provide general support in office including answering the telephone, dealing with invoicing queries, handing transport issues and assisting with office-based cover To be successful in this Sales Administrator role you will need: To be literate in Microsoft Word and Excel Previous experience within a customer based administration role A strong customer ethos and the ability to deal with people at all levels This is a full-time role, permanent opportunity and the client is offering a starting salary between £23,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience.
