Senior Manager Kingston Upon Hull Professional Accounting Practice. Not For Profit/Charities/Education sector. Qualified/Experienced Manager within Accounting Practice or previous NfP/Charity or Education sector specific experience. ACCA/ACA Qualified or Industry Experienced accountant. About the Company My client is a leading independent firm of chartered accountants offering forward-thinking accounting solutions to a wide range of multi-disciplined customers. Utilising the latest cloud-based solutions they provide audit, accounts, taxation, and business advisory services to a diverse client portfolio operating in a wide range of business sectors. As the practice continues to expand its footprint across the Yorkshire region the need has arisen to recruit at Manager level taking responsibility for an existing portfolio of clients operating in the Not for Profit/Charity and Education sector. About the role Manage an existing portfolio of clients in the NfP/Charity and Education sector, utilising effective client management and networking opportunities to promote the firm in the local business community. Review and delivery of year-end accounts, Audit, and tax compliance for existing portfolio of clients. Proactively manage, and provide ongoing mentoring, and guidance to facilitate team and individual development. Work collaboratively and in liaison with internal departments. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Develop relationships with external business contacts to maintain and grow your professional network. Promote efficiencies and best practice to the Partners, managers and supporting accounts teams. Strive to provide and uphold excellent client service across all aspects of the role and responsibilities. Candidate Profile Strategic thinking, qualified or experienced accountant (ACA or ACCA). Knowledge and familiarity of current accounting standards, legislation and business tax rules and regulations relevant to the Not for Profit/Charities, and/or Education sector. Minimum of twelve months post qualification experience managing a team and client portfolio. Comfortable to represent the business and attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate. Strong networking experience and skills, comfortable in promoting and presenting the business to potential clients. Excellent and proven communication skills.
