Equipment Technician - Photolithography Near Sheffield Basic salary plus shift allowance - Shift work pattern given upon request As a team, they work really closely together, they are looking for a technician who is mechanically minded and enjoys a hands on and varied role inclusive of tasks such as problem solving, routine maintenance and repairs. They will support and develop this individual, therefore would suit someone who is keen to learn and take on a new challenge. Responsibilities: Contributing towards smooth running of the Production departments. Conducting routine maintenance and repair tasks in a timely manner on our machines causing minimal disruption to production. Identifying and diagnosing faults with equipment in the Wafer Fabrication Areas and providing solutions. Working in a clean room environment maintaining equipment specifically on Equipment in our Photo Lithography areas, but you may also get involved in supporting maintenance works on other equipment in the department. Working as part of a team to ensure our wide range of equipment on site is reliable for our production teams to deliver products to our customers. Working within Health and Safety procedures at all times. Working within a team to provide new ideas and ways of working striving towards continuous improvement. To be considered you will need the following: Recent experience working within a hands on mechanical / technical role, circa 1 to 2 years. Recent experience working in an equipment or vehicle maintenance environment. Experience working with a wide range of equipment conducting routine maintenance and repairs. Manufacturing / Production Industry experience would be beneficial but not essential. Experience following procedures and processes. Experience of toxic/corrosive gases, hydraulics, pneumatics, DI water systems and high and low voltage electronics would be advantageous. Good dexterity. Computer literate and competent using packages such as Microsoft Word. Good communicator and used to working as part of a team. Mechanical or Electrical related BTEC qualification or equivalent Comfortable working in our clean room production bays (full PPE required & provided) Please get in touch with Christina McGuire to hear more about this fantastic position!
