Work as a HR Advisor - 18 Month Contract in London
Join the team as a HR Advisor, covering a long period of maternity leave. The intimate yet solid team of three are looking for a HR Advisor to join them mainly remotely and attend one day a week in the office at their site in Exeter.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting employees and management team in various HR functions, as the first point of contact into the HR team for the business.
You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR matters, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and policy development. The role reports into the People Business Partner for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide HR guidance and support to employees and managers on various HR-related issues.
Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including conducting interviews and facilitating orientation sessions.
Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
Conduct training sessions on HR topics and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
CIPD Level 3 qualified as a minimum
3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations and HR advisory services.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
The business is looking for candidates to start at the beginning of March for a period of handover before the individual goes on maternity leave. There will be a 3 stage interview process, an initial screening call with one of the Big Red team, a Teams call with the client and a face to face scenario based interview on site.
