This is an opportunity to be part of a global legal team that provides advice on competition and antitrust issues across Swiss Re's business and jurisdictions. As part of the team, you will provide pragmatic, solution driven counsel to the business, management and legal and compliance colleagues. About the Role

Your main tasks will be: Counsel on: Internal and external information sharing (including participation in trade associations); Horizontal and vertical agreements; Abuse of dominance; Re/insurance business practices; and Digitisation, including Swiss Re's development of and participation in new technology platforms Transactions, including engagement with antitrust authorities, as well as advise on gun-jumping related issues. As a member of Division Legal, you will also: Contribute to quarterly and annual legal reports and group wide, business unit or division projects and initiatives. Help develop efficient policies and practices to promote and maintain high legal and ethical standards. About You

We are seeking an outstanding communicator, able to provide high quality, timely and pragmatic client service, balanced with a clear focus on protecting the interests and reputation of Swiss Re. High level of ethics and integrity is a must. Essentials: Education and qualifications : University degree and

qualified lawyer admitted to practice in England & Wales

or another jurisdiction within EMEA. Experience: Minimum of 5+ years'

post qualification experience in UK and/or EU competition law gained in a law firm and/or working as in-house competition counsel in a multi-national organisation. Expertise in a range of

competition and antitrust law topics . Handling of

multi-jurisdictional merger filings. Prior experience in the

management of competition law compliance frameworks and policies , and the delivery of competition law trainings. It would also be nice for you to have: Additional qualification in competition law (P.G. Dip/ LL.M/ PhD).
