Work as a Resident Graduate Assistant in Ipswich
We are seeking to appoint a Resident Graduate Assistant (RGA) to join us for one academic year starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will play an important role in our boarding provision and will also ideally support the school in a particular area, for example: the Sports department, the Learning Support department or the Prep School.
The RGA will reside in staff accommodation which will be situated in the boarding house and will play an active role in the running of the boarding house. Our RGA will work either a Saturday or Sunday each week to support activities and trips designed to enrich our boarders experience of British culture. There will be at least one protected day off each week.
You will be expected to take an active interest in the development of each and every boarder in your care.
Our RGA will receive:
Boarding Essentials BSA Certificate
Access to school facilities including the swimming pool and gym
A qualification in first aid
High-quality accommodation
All meals provided during term-time
Invaluable experience of working in a school environment
At the end of the tenure, our RGA will have gained confidence and experience which will be invaluable in whatever career they choose.
