A well-established company in the palletised freight and haulage industry is looking for a Sales Manager with strong business development and key account management skills. Along with a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, you will also receive a commission

The role requires someone who will take the initiative and provide insights and reporting, to contribute to process improvement and the successful
marketing and sales of products. You will be given the trust and autonomy to really help drive the already successful and growing business forward by providing and executing new ideas and strategies to grow the existing business, whilst delivering new business.
As Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering on targets for both palletised and haulage business.
Winning new business for both palletised freight and general haulage by Identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, taking a pro-active approach to seeking potential customers.
Account Managing a handful of important existing key accounts, to ensure first class customer service levels are in place and to secure any growth opportunity within those existing clients.
Building relationships with new and existing clients by providing support, information and guidance
Identify opportunities to deliver innovation to the sales process and present these ideas to the board
Producing leadership in Marketing, being able to identify opportunities and support marcomms initiatives such as social media and trade shows, as well as attending networking events and/or trade shows to promote our Client
Leading and mentoring the existing sales team
We’re looking for a Sales Manager with the following:
Proven track record in sales within the freight or haulage industry
Willingness to work in an office-based setting when not out visiting customers etc
Strong business development and key account management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build trusted customer relationships
