The company, based in Huddersfield, operates at the forefront of the industry, delivering high-quality projects for a diverse range of clients. Role Overview:As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate and competitive estimates for shopfitting projects. This is a hybrid role that involves a blend of on-site and office work, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for shopfitting projects. Collaborate with the project management team to understand client requirements. Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant information. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to create comprehensive estimates. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator within the shopfitting industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
