Position: Flavour Solutions Demand Planner
Based: Haddenham
This Demand Planning position will under supervision, be in touch with all forecasting activities associated with the commercial team and products, including promotional reference on relevant distribution channels. The Demand Planner will maintain forecast
models for their internal customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, supply planners, and other sources.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain SKU data in SAP APO for forecasting purposes.
Update the sales forecast in compliance with the IBP process.
Update historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
Collect cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and review the forecast model to reflect agreed sales and marketing assumptions.
Implement changes to represent sales forecast agreed for future periods.
Maintain and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Forecast Accuracy, BIAS, SKU count, new product development (NPD).
Provide information to coordinate with the planning functions, review the sales forecasts, risks, and opportunities with the senior Demand planner to ensure good coordination of actions throughout the supply chain, which promote optimized management of
stock and Slow-moving and Obsolete goods (SLOB).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Relevant Industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
APICS or other forecasting Certification preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods.
Knowledge of SAP/APO is preferred, but not essential.
Experienced with Windows 365 and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills required, as well as fast decision making.
Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
