The Role This role will involve leading a small procurement team and provide a centralised procurement service, including; Expert Procurement advice and governance Supporting strategic goals and development, whilst managing policies and procedures. Tendering and contracting to all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Deliver NCHA’s procurement strategy and a five year procurement plan with agreed efficiency targets Managing end to end procurement processes Requirements We are looking for an experienced procurement professional, with excellent communication skills and motivated by values and the desire to deliver great service. We are ideally looking for a resilient individual who; Has extensive experience of applying Public Contract Regulations in a pragmatic manner in order to achieve a compliant and VFM solution. Can demonstrate experience of developing and delivering high value procurement solutions and plans in a large complex organisation, ideally in social housing or care. Managing compliance of spend throughout NCHA ensuring any identified non-compliant is challenged, and reviewed.
