You will own and improve the brands of our partner councils, including Cotswold, Forest of Dean, and West Oxfordshire District Councils. You will also be able to use your creative skills to create high quality design across the business to help us engage
local people.
As we continue to grow and deliver ever better communications for our residents, we are looking for a talented and creative person to join our team and be our guru on all things design and brand.
Job responsibilities include:- Proactively managing the visual brands of our partner councils and Publica, improving them and ensuring correct application to build our reputation.- Provide creative design leadership for digital and print work to support priority campaigns and projects along with requests from across the business.- Lead the development of a design style for the partner councils and Publica, ensuring modern and engaging design that helps strengthen their brands.- Deliver visually appealing and engaging design work across various digital and print mediums for the partner councils and Publica.- Advise colleagues on visual branding, specialist print, and design, working collaboratively to ensure high-quality work.
You will need…
A qualification in your area of expertise, equivalent to a degree or relevant experience of five years – including portfolio of previous work
Experience of working flexibly as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders
Experience of being involved in continuously improving services and developing products to meet customer need
Ability to remain calm and confident when dealing with challenging customers and environments
Ability to resolve complex issues by negotiation
