If you are an experienced Commercial Door Engineer with two years experience and a full clean driving license, look no further. This is a Field-based role working on multiple client sites from York down to Exeter.
As an experienced Commercial Door Engineer, we have opportunities in our service department to join our installation teams. Full time permanent position with a salary £35K to £38K plus overtime rates and bonuses depending on experience. Immediate start dates available.

The Role of an Experienced Commercial Door Engineer:
As an experienced Commercial Door Engineer with two years experience you will be responsible for installation, repair, service, and maintenance of a variety of doors, gate and barrier systems, including roller shutter, sectionaldoors, high speed doors, automatic doors, manual doors, fire doors, gates, barriers and fencings on customer sites across the country. You will also be part of the on-call rota for emergency repairs for our customer account holders.
Key Responsibilities
of an Experienced Commercial Door Engineer:
A strong electrical / mechanical engineering background.
The role will entail site attendance, fault finding, estimating repair requirement, fault diagnosis and service calls along with advising customers of potential equipment faults.
Respond to emergency call-outs for repairs.
Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site.
Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team.
Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to.
Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to more junior members of the team.
At least 2 years' experience working with Commercial Door sector would be advantageous.
The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
CSCS, EN16005, IPAF & PASMA Certified (Preferred).
A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
