Role Overview:

As the Interim Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial affairs of our institution. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will oversee day-to-day financial activities, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our institution while gaining valuable experience in the education sector. Key Responsibilities: Manage the school's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership to support decision-making. Supervise finance team members and provide training and development opportunities as needed. Participate in audits and assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred. Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the education sector. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
