Work as a Paraplanner in Chester
Fram are currently working with a Chartered Financial planning company based in Chester. Our client provides financial guidance and support that helps their clients achieve their goals. They are looking for a Paraplanner who is as passionate about financial planning as they are. You will play a crucial role in supporting a team of chartered advisers and working with a dedicated administrator. Our client is looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to create holistic financial planning solutions and think outside of the box. This role has come about due to internal movement, and our client has a proven record of developing employees in their career.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing analysis of client's existing portfolio.
Provision of technical support to Advisers.
Completing calculations (ie income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow Modelling etc).
Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advice.
Preparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation.
Adherence to the firm's compliance procedures, core values and high standards of client service.
Regular liaison with product providers, account managers and clients.
Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs.
An ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within an IFA environment with several years of paraplanning experience. RO qualifications would be preferred but not essential if experience can be evidenced. Be highly organised & methodical, with excellent attention to detail. Have excellent communication, numerical and IT skills. Experience of IO (Intelliflo) back-office system would be an advantage, together with experience of some, or all, of the following platforms: SelectaPension, Financial Express, Trigold, Assureweb, ExWeb, MiCap, Investment Platform; abrdn, Aviva, Aegon.
