Academic Registry is a key, central professional service and is seeking to grow its team of Registry Services Assistants. Our operational services and academic policy work contribute significantly to university life and to the development of learning and teaching.

We currently have 3 vacancies:

- 2 x full-time (permanent) - 1 x full-time (fixed-term until 31 January 2026)

This is an exciting opportunity and an ideal starting point in which to gain skills and experiences toward a career in higher education administration.

These are key service roles, providing administrative support across our department, as well as providing excellent customer service to staff and students across the University. These roles encompass the entire student lifecycle, from registration to results and graduation.

This role provides great variety working across the breadth of our services, including student records, examinations, graduation, academic standards, and departmental operations. Your core duties will involve offering responsive support to enquiries through various communication channels, including phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and in-person interactions. You will work with important student and programme records, so accuracy and attention to detail is key to the role.

You will:

- be able to demonstrate significant experience in an administrative role. - have excellent organisation and planning skills. - be confident in customer facing situations and possess strong communication skills. - be a proficient user of Microsoft 365 and other IT packages. - be able to work in an agile way, adapt quickly and pivot on the job.
