Role: Lead Assurance Auditor Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Contract: Permanent Location: Bolton (covering nationwide offices) Multitask Personnel are working alongside a well-established, growing utilities company who are on the lookout for a Lead Assurance Auditor. This a permanent contract working Monday to Friday hybrid working, 2 days working in their office in Bolton, this will include travel to nationwide offices. The Lead Assurance Auditor will plan and conduct compliance audits across multiple management systems including ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 to assess the overall effectiveness of the business processes and procedures. They will ensure that the business is adhering to internal procedures, relevant regulatory standards, and legislative requirements; ensuring gaps identified are reported to management and improvement actions are implemented in a timely manner. This is an opportunity for an experienced auditor who has the drive to influence change. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and be integral to ongoing projects and process standardisation following recent acquisitions. To fulfil this role; travel to other sites is essential, therefore, a full and current driving license and access to a vehicle is required. Key Responsibilities for the Lead Assurance Auditor: Lead the development of the audit schedule, using a risk-based approach. Lead and manage audits (end to end), often in complex risk areas. Report on the effectiveness of policies, systems, processes, and procedures, making recommendations for improvements and developing action plans. Monitor and report on action plans to ensure that they are implemented effectively and within agreed timescales (for both internal and external audits). Drive continuous improvement, through recommended changes to business operations, processes, and system enhancements. Prepare for and lead external audits. Lead on extending the scope of the assurance following acquisitions. Educational Qualifications for the Lead Assurance Auditor: Higher level qualification (degree) in a relevant discipline. Qualified QMS Lead Auditor/Auditor or qualified by demonstrable experience. Qualified Internal Auditor (IIA or equivalent). Experience and proficient in the use of office packages e.g., Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
