An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Pharmacist to work for pharmacy at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey.

We welcome applications from Pharmacists working in both hospital and primary care sectors including community pharmacy.

The role: Working as part of the wider clinical team your role will involve medicines management and clinical governance activities centred on patients; medicine safety and policy compliance, counselling patients, clinical screening and medicines reconciliation, clinical projects, training staff for medicine management

Key Responsibilities: Clinical prescription screening and clinical service to wards Safe and secure stock management including procurement. Providing pharmaceutical advice to patients/carers and clinical staff. Support to medicines governance, including audit and advice on policy and procedures. Adhering to GPhC Standards of conduct, ethics and performance Ensuring accurate and legal dispensing and issue of prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients as specified in Ramsay Health Care Policies and Procedures Adhering to all of Ramsay’s policies and procedures to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for patients. A strong advocate of the Ramsay Way and People Caring for People.
