Accountancy Case Managers (Tax and General Accountancy specialisms considered) Milton Keynes Hybrid Working available - 3 days at home, 2 days in the office Permanent, Full Time £79,600pa Join our team Are you a chartered accountant with a practice background, interested in upholding the standards of the accounting profession, working within a great regulatory team? As an experienced, qualified accountant, you will utilise all your technical accounting knowledge, examining a case load of new and existing cases regarding potential conduct issues by our members. You will plan your workload, maintaining a dialogue with complainants and respondents to understand the full facts and technical background of a case and write reports which go to our investigation committee and disciplinary committee. You'll be joining a phenomenal team where no day is the same and everyone supports each other with what can be technically and emotionally difficult accounting cases. You'll need to have a resilient character capable of balancing the facts and an inquisitive persona, always looking for the missing pieces of information to complete the puzzle. You'll be very organised; capable of managing your workload and adminstration and enjoy putting together cases demonstrating both your accounting knowledge and ability to write reports which the layperson can understand. Skillsets we particularly need currently: Wide ranging experience in multiple areas of tax either in providing advisory or compliance services yourself or reviewing the work of others; Involvement in a wide range of accountancy services, not limited to the preparation of accounts but also payroll, valuations and corporate finance; and Experience of the compliance requirements involved in running a practice including the completion of money laundering checks and client onboarding.
