Job description

Our UNIQLO Manager Candidate Program (UMC) will prepare you to take on many roles as an innovator, a talent developer, a problem solver, and above all, a business leader. As part of this program, you will join a group of passionate peers and undertake an intensive one year training program designed to build the skills and experiences necessary to become an effective Store Manager, able to run a business generating millions in sales.

Upon completing the program, many candidates move towards progressively larger store management roles, either in their own countries or accross Europe. Wherever your interests are, the UMC experience will set the stage for unrivaled opportunities. Your personal growth, responsibility, and achievement are limited only by your effort and abilities.

The Store Manager role in Uniqlo includes the following responsibilities:

Managing People: 

  • Motivate, develop and manage a team of more than 100 members 
  • Developing Sales and Profit : 
  • Deliver UNIQLO's fundamental principles of customer service 
  • Manage store sales and profitability 
  • Guarantee the highest level of shop floor standards 
Managing Product:


  • Set action plans to optimize product and stock management 
  • Visual merchandising 
  • Developing a global perspective 
  • Immerse yourself in a new and exciting cultural experience 
  • Develop a balance of strong business acumen and interpersonal skills 
  • Becoming the brand ambassador/Changing the world 
  • Lead by example
