We are looking for friendly & enthusiastic students/ graduates to teach both Maths and Science. We are looking for tutors to teach primary and/or secondary students. You will be teaching via screen sharing & webcam.
We are a start-up company with the aim to give students support in their Maths & Science simply, regularly and more affordably.
We are growing our team of tutors seeking friendly,
supportive and articulate individuals who have a passion for teaching; and are comfortable with Internet based technology. Our tutor positions are self-employed positions.
Remuneration: £9 - £12 per hour
Your role will be to:
Log in to your classroom Monday - Friday for an hour per day between 6:30pm and 9:00pm
Complete simple daily reports on each student in your class.
Ensure class passwords are set before each session
Ensure worksheets (or links to worksheets used) are uploaded to shared excel document before/after each session
Tutor requirements:
Excellent knowledge of the Maths & Science (For the year groups you wish to tutor)
Clear & coherent speaking tone.
Make detailed notes on each student in your class to track progress
Effective Time management
MUST be available Monday - Thursday for an hour per evening between 6:30pm and 9:00pm
Able to use Dropbox adequately.
Be Internet savvy - You will be communicating with head office frequently via webcam and email & will be required to update documents in your Dropbox on a daily basis.
Have a HD Webcam & good microphone
Be able to teach & explain concepts effectively via sharing your screen and webcam – using a whiteboard of your choice
(We strongly suggest you work on experiment different apps/ websites BEFORE your interview)
