Are you a LAST-YEAR student of HRM, Psychology or Business Administration with a high/native level of English and a EU passport? Our partner company is offering you an at least 3-month placement in their Headhunting department in the centre of Barcelona, starting in February / March 2016.

Executive search HR consultancy founded in 2003. They work on an international level for more than 500 client companies. They have a young and ambitious team, always striving to improve their service.

Internship Description

  • Start date: February / March 2016
  • Duration: 3-5 months
  • Working hours: full-time or part-time
  • Salary: 5€ net / hour (full-time: 800€+ / month)

Required profile

  • Areas of study: Last year of Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration etc.
  • Work experience: Previous professional experience required (not necessarily in HR but it has to be something related to contact with people)
  • Languages: High / native level of English (C1/C2)
  • IT Skills: Basic understanding of office tools
  • Other skills: Proactive, initiative, flexible, willing to learn and grow, career and target/goal oriented, highly resistant to stress

Objective – Responsibilities

Tasks include:

  • Identifying target populations of candidates via the company database, online databases (such as LinkedIn), conference websites, Google searches, and information gleaned from other market research
  • Data entry and update of in-house databases
  • Research of specialty market areas including informing yourself and sharing important trends as gleaned through the news and other sources
  • Clear tracking of communications
  • Mining of in-house and external databases for information
  • Work closely with Account Managers on roles where they will outline specific needs where you ensure you possess a good understanding of the business need
  • Work with Operations on best practices
  • General day-to-day support to the consultant/manager
  • Preparation of search briefs, candidate reports and other reports
  • Acting as executive assistant to the directors, including managing paperwork and handling scheduling
  • Providing office management services, such as dealing with suppliers
