Join the Stannah Team at Watt Close, Andover. You will be working in a manufacturing environment, with Standard Operating Procedures in place. You will be joining a team that thrives on teamwork.

This job is a full time, fixed term contract for 6 Months. In the Assembly Operative Job you will work the late shift, working hours:

Monday to Wednesday 14:00 to Midnight and Thursday 14:00 to 23:00. In return you will receive a 15% shift allowance on top of an attractive base salary.

What You Will Do:

As an Assembly Operative at Stannah, you will:

Manufacture subassemblies and test products in line with daily targets. Each operative is responsible for the manufacture of a sub-assembly which is then passed to the next in-line operative.

Job Responsibilities:

• Picking components from bins to assemble the produce
• Using pneumatic, electric-powered tools, and a small number of hand tools.
• Use of computers to produce bar code labels.
• Use of hoists to manoeuvre heavy loads (25kgs) onto pallets.
• Manually load lighter finished parts onto pallets
• Remove pallets of finished product to the dispatch area, using a hand palletiser

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be desirable
• Excellent team working and ability to integrate into existing team.
• Proactive problem solver
