Social Media and Marketing Intern in London

Job description

Duties:

• Maintaining and updating the social media channels with relevent and engaging information.
• Promotion of events through in-house and online mediums (e.g. posters, flyers, listings, Press Association etc.).
• Assist the head office in the launch of a new venue, including research, promotion, flyers, development of competitions and promos.
• General admin duties such as calendar keeping, taking messages etc.

Essential:

• Knowledge of programs such as Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of social media dashbooards such as Hootsuite or similar.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A keen interest in the drinks/bar/events industry.

Desirable:

• Some experience of events/marketing, preferably within the drinks or hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with any basic photo editing software.
