One of our clients, a leading supply chain management consulting company headquartered in Germany and with offices worldwide, is looking for a Management Consulting Intern in London to start on the 1st of September 2016. Objective:
As part of the consulting team, the intern will be involved in helping establish our business processes, account management systems, providing competitive insights.
Missions:
1 Assisting in thought leadership campaigns:
• Work with stakeholders to define hypothesis
• Generate qualitative and quantitative data to help define the hypothesis
• Generate reports
• Assess and enable routes to disseminating / publishing the report via the consulting website or social network
• Compiling a target media list of relevant publications and journalists
• Identifying and creating a list of online influencers e.g. bloggers and LinkedIn writers
• Converting content into infographics, videos and webinars
• Liaising with Senior Consultants to determine the best way of showcasing content
2. Research will be conducted in one of following areas:
• Position of outsourcing in the UK marketplace
• Role of manufacturing GDP in industrialised nations
• Investigating the success of German discount retailers in the UK
• Identifying current healthcare trends and its impact on supply chain thinking
• Examining the future of the UK energy sector and its impact on procurement thinking
• Environmental issues and demonstrating how the consulting company supports these issues
Profile:
• Currently enrolled in a University Degree as an Undergraduate or MBA student ( Preferably Business Administration; Engineering; Marketing; Supply Chain);
• To be at least 18 years old and with a valid EU passport;
• To be able to stay in the host company for 2 months (longer placements also possible);
• To speak at least one foreign language (preferably the language of the target country);
• Excellent mastery of Excel, Power-point, Word, and other MS Office applications.
Advantages:
• Unpaid Internship Position but financial support (either Monthly tube card (Zone 1-2) OR Stipend for accommodations OR Flight cost)
• The possibility to join the consulting company as permanent staff member after the internship after the performance evaluation once the student is graduated.
• The intern will be interning in the offices of the consulting company in Zone 1, London Area.
