Job description

I require an eCommerce Assistant in my growing online mobiles wholesaling business. I am looking for someone to manage and push current sales via online retail platforms including our Website, eBay, Amazon and other online marketplaces. The applicant must be proactive and willing to work alongside director at one of offices. Although training will be provided on business processes, I am looking for a person with good communication skills and a basic knowledge of excel and using a PC.

The Role and Responsibilities

- Interacting with businesses and private clients buying our goods both via online portal and offline.

- Creating online dispatch of goods using online postage systems.

- Answering questions via email and phone from potential customers about the items listed on our websites.

- Listing new products on our websites and other e-commerce platforms.

- Managing Instagram, facebook, blogs and other social media

- Responsible for ensuring all products are clearly listed with features and benefits and detailed descriptions for each item.

- Review product listing (this will involve amending detailed description)

- Conducting regular price checks to ensure our prices remain competitive.

- Keep each marketplace updated with all the latest products and promotions under my instructions.

- Daily Pack and Dispatch to meet post cut off of sold items.

- Managing and organising returns.

- Produce images of products and write listings in a clear, concise language

- Manage PayPal and other business accounts, ensuring all payments have been received, issue refunds, organise replacements and process customer returns

- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email

- Assist with administrative tasks where necessary

- Any other duties as required

Skills/Experience required (Ideal but not all essential):

- Fluent in both written and spoken English

- Experience in selling consumer goods on eBay or other online marketplaces Preferred but not necessary)

- Previous experience within a direct customer contact role (face to face or telephone)

- Pro-active with the ability to work independently

- Highly organised and good at multi-tasking

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Remuneration:
