Growth rates are higher than in information technology. Across the world, new hospitals, new ways for caring for the elderly and new online models are springing up.
This is a chance for a new graduate, or someone with 1-2 years of relevant experience, to join a fast growing publisher, whose high-end publications and events enjoy unusually high renewal rates. It is an opportunity to learn how to market to blue chips – the world’s largest banks, private equity firms, healthcare operators, advisory firms and medtech and pharma. You will also implement large-scale sponsorship contracts.
We are looking for a creative communicator with strong analytical skills who can help us deepen existing relationships and build new ones across six continents. You will do this by working with the Commercial Director to produce clear, well planned and segmented marketing campaigns delivered on time. Managing our social media platforms including building and maintaining an online community on LinkedIn and email.
The role involves working closely with our blue-chip sponsors to deliver contracted marketing campaigns. We want to stay connected with our customers and subscribers so we need to know if they're happy, and if not how to make them happy. You will therefore also work closely with the sales team and account manager to track customer feedback. You will also track what does and what doesn't work by measuring campaign results and being innovative in your approach to deliver results.
You will be part of a small, lively, close-knit team using the advanced Salesforce/Pardot platform. We provide Everything you need to do the job. Although you can bring your own pens if you like...
You will possess strong written and communication skills with an absolute fluency in written and spoken English.
You should hold a degree at 2.1 or better (or have some relevant commercial experience)
You will have a keen interest in and understanding of business with the desire to build a career in marketing and have at least a basic understanding of marketing in the commercial world.
You need to be a good communicator who is happy to pick up the phone and talk to customers and prospective customers.
Naturally, you will have a high degree of energy and enthusiasm for work with the preparedness to go the extra mile and work flexible hours when necessary.
*You must be able to provide proof of your eligibility to work in the UK.
The ability to speak languages other than English is an advantage, but not essential.
It would be great if you have experience in copywriting.
