A fantastic opportunity to get in early, in a fast growing business and join an international B2B media company as a Business Development Executive. You may have never heard of it, but international healthcare services is the world’s fastest-growing major industry. Accounting for 5-15% of GDP in most countries, it enjoys annual growth rates that outstrip information technology. Across the world, new hospitals, new ways for caring for the elderly and new ways of dealing with chronic conditions are springing up.

This is a chance for two fresh graduates, or someone with 1-2 years of sales experience, to join a market-leading publisher, whose high-end publications and events enjoy unusually high renewal rates. You will be selling complex information products and delegate places internationally to CxOs in blue chips: the world’s largest banks, private equity firms, healthcare operators, advisory firms and medtech and pharma.

Business Development Executive | Sales | New Business | Account Management

We are looking for at least two intelligent communicators who can help us to build new customers and relationships across six continents.

The role is pretty straightforward; through a mix of emails, online demos, phone calls, a bit of LinkedIn stalking and face-to-face meetings you will demonstrate the power and benefits of our products and then close. For the most part, you will be working with warm leads, but you will also get the pleasure of developing and nurturing your new clients.

You will be part of a lively, close-knit team using the advanced Salesforce/Pardot platform.

Systematic training both in-house and externally will be provided.


Essential Requirements:
You enjoy picking up the phone and calling people you don't know

You have a university degree and the ability to think for yourself and to absorb abstract concepts

You have strong written and communication skills with an absolute fluency in witten and spoken English

You can handle objection and rejection without giving up and breaking down

You love to learn

You are interested in business and want to get in early on a fast growing business

High degree of energy and enthusiasm for work: preparedness to go the extra mile and to work flexible hours when necessary


Desirable Requirements:
Other languages are an advantage, but are not essential
