How you can expect to spend your day
Put on your analytical thinking cap; it’s time to put your excellent planning skills into practice. Finance is a world that is constantly changing, so you’ll need to be able to think on your feet and solve problems effectively. You’re going to make sure our household-name business remains adaptable to change and resilient against risks. Over ten weeks, you’ll be dealing with large commercial contracts, managing customers and shadowing our commercial banking managers.
The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications
2:1 or above from Russell Group University
Strong numeracy skills
Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good attitude!
Detail-orientated
Proactive and self-motivated
Excellent communication skills
