We are looking for someone to start immediately: A creative, sharp and a compassionate individual ready to hit the ground running with an internship in the Marketing and Development side of a small, growing business. Based in Soho, London, Woodbury House is a contemporary art company. We are looking to grow our team and support our social media and marketing to build brand awareness.
A typical day would be:
Manage the social media for the company – Instagram, Facebook
Design and generate monthly newsletters using Mailchimp, invitation design and website maintenance
Work alongside the PR team to execute the overarching yearly PR/ marketing strategy
Using art database to generate invoices and manage inventory
Oversee social media strategies, tactics and execute them with creativity and flair
Represent the brand at key industry events, conferences, art fairs, private views; be an evangelist and extensive networker
Remain fully abreast of all industry trends and competitor activities, researching artists, auction results and the current art market
Perform quality assurance/quality control checks on campaigns to ensure that all placements and creative have been set up correctly and are delivering on pace
Provide weekly/monthly delivery reports detailing campaign status
Assist with administration; make calls, complete paperwork, help with events and exhibitions for internal and external media including investors
The ideal candidate's personality and qualifications:
A self-starter but loves teamwork
Passionate about digital advertising and the social ad space
Familiar with MailChimp, InDesign, Photoshop or the passion to learn
Have strong Excel or Google Spreadsheet skills
Ability to quickly learn new tools to put them to work
A quantitative approach and keen business sense
Exceptional analytical skills
A love for organisation, planning, problem-solving, project management, and time management skills
Strong attention to detail with a mind for quality first
An independent thinker who is intellectually persistent
