Concierge in London

AVA Hospitality Ltd current manages 9 Hertford Street, a series of 20 long and short let apartments, offering services similar to a small boutique hotel. The concierge is an important contact for the guests staying at Hertford Street.

Job description

The concierge is responsible for the following:

  1. Security checks of the building
  2. Maintaining the common parts of the building in an orderly manner
  3. Checking the apartments before guest check-in's
  4. Greeting guests and flat owners and providing general concierge services such as hotel and restaurant bookings, directions and general help and advice
  5. Managing the front desk, dealing with deliveries and contractors
  6. Assisting the housekeeping department when necessary
  7. Assisting in the check-in and guest registration process
The ideal candidate would have the following qualities and experience:
  1. Dealing with guests and flat owners from all around the world
  2. Excellent written and spoken English
  3. Excellent computer skills
  4. A helpful nature and the ability to offer a high level of customer care
  5. Perform well under pressure
  6. Good common sense and the ability to work on their own
  7. Team player (a team of 7 people, working very closely and with a good spirit)
  8. The ability to occupy themselves during quiet evening shifts
  9. Good presentation, organized and impeccable manners
