Pursuit Translations Ltd was established in the United Kingdom in 2013 and is represented globally. We are specialists of the English language, with both native English speakers translating from their second languages into English, and non-native English speakers translating from English into their respective mother tongues. We offer specialist translations from the marketing and legal sectors, in addition to a range of projects from the medical, personal, and financial sectors.
Pursuit Translations is pretty unique. We operate entirely online; our offices are the living rooms, coffee shops, and train carriages of the world. After all, this is the digital age. This doesn't mean we're not a tight-knit community. Our translator portal, where available projects are posted, also serves as our community hub, with direct and group messaging, file exchange, web-conference and forum functions.
We also think differently. Most translation agencies collect a database of many thousand translators as a way of tendering the high demand of their clients. Projects are distributed, often at random, via email.
This method of operation has been used by translation agencies for many years. We don't like it.
Instead, we have chosen to work with small teams of gifted linguists; people we have come to know and trust, on whom we can rely. This enables us to pair our clients' work with the perfect translator.

Translation is not a maths equation. It is an art-form; the recreation of a text in another language requires perfect mastery of the mother tongue and a deep understanding of the second language. This is what we're looking for in your translation assessment; a perfect mix of accuracy in translation, and clear, native-level style and flow.
Pursuit consists of multiple language teams; each team is named after the native language of the team members. For example, our English team is a group of native English linguists who speak a range of languages. Pursuit translators are only authorised to translate into their native tongue. Nothing beats the expression of a native-speaker.

In order to help you hit the ground running, we have prepared various training courses for every aspect of translation, hosted by the intelligent learning platform Calibrae. This training is completely free for our translation teams.
The only way to improve your translation abilities is consistent, specific feedback. We recognise and understand this, and have set-up a project rating system accordingly. Feedback is broken down into specific fields, such as accuracy and expression in translation.
