We are seeking a motivated and hard working couple to work in our busy restaurant, bar and shop during the summer season. Accountable to the Bar Supervisor, you must be able to work under pressure using your own initiative but also as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring guests receive excellent customer focused service.
Fixed term contract:
We are looking for 2 persons - a couple are required due to the one bedroom accommodation on offer. The position is available from May until the end of September. Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends. May work
opposite shifts but have days off together. Straight and split shifts. Hours per week vary, up to 40/wk.
Duties will include:
Greeting customers
Taking customer orders and dealing with enquiries on menus in a knowledgeable and friendly manner.
Serving drinks/snacks/meals to guests in an efficient manner.
Ensuring preparation of crockery/cutlery/glassware/condiments etc for service.
Replenishing and maintaining stock levels in the bar/restaurant/shop.
Maintaining cleanliness in the bar, restaurant and shop areas at all times.
Accepting payments and operating the tills.
If candidates have previous kitchen experience, opportunity for one person to assist in this area.
Applicant Criteria:
The ideal candidates will have excellent communication and a passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service. A professional and friendly demeanour is critical as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
May be required to assist with housekeeping, ie cleaning rental accommodation.
