Award-winning Country Inn is looking to recruit a junior Chef and a General Assistant (Front of House) to join our friendly, motivated team for the 2017 season. This would suit a couple or 2 friends working together who would like to develop their career within the hospitality industry.
The Chef should have at least 1 year's experience, ideally with relevant qualifications. This is a full-time role reporting to our Head Chef working in a team of 3. You will be involved in food preparation, making breakfasts, light lunches, sandwiches, pizzas and assisting with dinner service. The kitchen is well-equipped and we offer excellent working conditions and benefits. Remuneration is negotiable up to £8.50 p.h. Hours are average 45 - 50 per week.
The General Assistant should have some relevant experience. The role involves waiting on and bar tending, engaging with customers and following service standards. Remuneration is £7.50 - £8 p.h. Hours are 35 - 40 per week.
These positions are suitable for a couple. Non-smoking accommodation based on sharing a room is available and includes breakfast and meals when working as well as share of tips and discounts on food and drinks.
