Job description
We're looking for our candidates who communicate exceptionally well in English and who are interested in technology, education and are capable of leading activities with our young participants.
Our Camps this summer include:
- Mine, Make, Art (8-11 years)
- Coding & 3D Modelling with Minecraft
- Design your first Videogame with Python
- Learn to code Python for Minecraft
Location: Italy
Dates:
19-06-2017 to 23-06-2017 (Training)
26-06-2017 to 11-08-2017 (Camps)
Pay: €420.00/week
What is Provided
- Shared apartment among other English Educators
- Monday – Friday transfers between the apartment and campus and lunch meals
- Airport Transfers
- Flight from UK to Venice (Italy) in June with return in August
Although additional meals (breakfast, dinner and meals over the weekend) are not provided, the apartment is situated near the city centre of Quarto d'Altino with local amenities such as supermarkets, pubs and the train station.

Responsibilities
- Deliver our camp curricular to children
- One week training and remote training
- Supervise campers at all times (Monday – Friday: lunches, snacks & free time from 4pm to 6pm)
- Be involved with outdoor activities
- Keep laboratories clean and in order
- Be aware of campers medical and emotional needs
- Ensure all campers are engaged
- Give parents feedback on their child's experience
- Collaborate with Labs & Camps staff and the other Educators
Profile
- Undergraduates (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Education or Mathematics)
- Understanding of general programming
- Ability to pick up on necessary and advanced programs quickly
- Must be eligible to work in Italy
Not essential but advantageous
- Comfortable with Apple devices (MacBooks and iPads)
- Experience in other educational activities involving young people (After School Clubs, Scout, etc)
- First Aid Certification
Please note: candidates aged 18 or below who have not undertaken a degree course are not suitable for this role.
