Social Media Intern in London

MayBmore requires an enthusiastic and reliable intern to help develop its social media strategy further. The candidate should be familiar with setting up and joining relevant Facebook groups that appeal to single professionals in London and Virtual Reality/gaming specialists.

What are you going to do:

The candidate will work closely with the CEO to devise and implement appropriate campaigns for outgoing social media activities including content creation, moderation, and customer interaction. This is a great opportunity to assist with the overall social media strategy for MayBmore.

The candidate will be responsible for bringing new ideas about digital media and creative energy to MayBmore. The candidate must be passionate about social media and enjoy thinking outside the box!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Creating and owning the social media content calendar
  2. Brainstorming ideas for campaigns
  3. Responsibility for representing the brand
  4. Monitoring social media accounts, trends, and news
  5. Scheduling content for multiple accounts
  6. Report building and research
  7. Some administrative tasks
  8. Assistance with event planning marketing

  • University educated - studying or completed degree

  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    1. Must be actively involved with social media channels including Facebook and Twitter
    2. Have a passion for the world of social media marketing and digital marketing
    3. Strong writing skills
    4. Currently at university or a recent graduate
    5. Strong internet researching and writing skills
    6. Detail-oriented and organized
    7. Positive attitude and a team player

    EXTRA CONSIDERATION GIVEN TO THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN

    1. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google and related websites
    2. Hootsuite / Buffer
    3. Adobe Creative Suite
    4. Google Analytics
    5. Some familiarity with WordPress
    6. An interest in virtual reality
