Prospects is recruiting a Partnership Careers Assistant to work on the London Inspiration Agenda, which brokers relationships between schools/colleges and employers. The post will involve supporting events such as careers fairs and employer visits, record keeping and writing case studies. It would suit a recent graduate or similar who has an interest in working in education or careers advice and is for six months in the first instance. The applicant should be enthusiastic and well presented, flexible and organised.
Provide support for the Inspiration team activities and events with schools and employers, including attendance at events
Liaise with schools/colleges and employers to support events and activities
Maintain accurate records of Inspiration activities to meet contract requirements
Contribute to collection and writing of case studies
Contribute to marketing and promotion of Inspiration events and activities
Ensure adherence to the company's equalities and diversity policy
Other duties commensurate with the level and nature of the post
Interest in working in education or careers advice
Degree or equivalent desirable
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Good IT skills
Able to present confidently and exhibit enthusiasm
Project a professional approach in order to represent the company to external audiences
Able to meet deadlines
Able to work with and contribute to the team objectives
Flexible and adaptable, including able to work occasional weekends and evenings
Prepared to travel across London
