We develop and distribute a revolutionary Pay As You Go solar power technology and business model that is transforming the opportunity in off-grid emerging markets, enabling users to benefit from clean renewable energy and simultaneously reduce their energy spend.

Role

We have a vacancy for a logistics and supply chain intern within Azuri's Product Management team in Cambridge. You will be part of a small team developing and supporting the deployment of our innovative Pay As You Go Solar Home Systems in sub Saharan Africa.

The role will have responsibility for supporting the supply chain and coordinating the delivery of various shipments from our manufacturing partners in South-East Asia to our Distributors, principally in sub-Saharan Africa, but also in other off-grid communities worldwide, as the company develops.

As you would expect in a small, growing organisation you will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of tasks and exercise both your practical and analytical skills.

What we ask:

  • Minimum degree: Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum work experience: n/a
  • Required

    Knowledge of 3PL logistics, 3rd party Warehousing operations, international trade documentation and associated processes and systems. Also must have knowledge of:

    HS Codes

    Rules of Origin

    Incoterms 2010

    Letters of Credit

    Documentation for Import & Export

    Forecasting

    Dangerous Goods (Class 9)

    Microsoft Office Suite

    You must be tenacious, enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, with strong inter-personal skills. You must be addicted to detail and demonstrate excellent communication, both written and verbal.
