We are looking for a conscientious, reliable candidate to fill a vital role within our Part Time Administration team. The role consists of general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the business on evenings and weekends. You will be providing support to the full-time administrators with administrative tasks as well as the sales team providing support for sales actions.
The standard hours for this role would be between 12-15+ hours per week and would consist of two evening shifts of 3 hours (5-8pm) and one weekend shift, either 9-6 on a Saturday or 10:30-4:30 on a Sunday.
There is also opportunity to progress in this role whilst maintaining the hours listed. We would look to progress you on to completing customer finance applications, requiring you to have good communication skills and understanding of sensitive data. Additionally, a candidate with good mathematical/analytical skills may be asked to create spreadsheets and reports when required.
All training on company software will be given.
Vital to ensure a paper trail is clear and easy to navigate.
• Answering phones
You are often the first point of contact with the store and will often act as a switchboard to the department the customer requires.
• Organising and actioning collections Ensure the customer has signed and fully paid for the goods as well as assist with taking out collections to vehicles etc.
• Processing payments
• Writing letters

• Good communication skills
When dealing with the general public, calm and confident telephone manner.
• Good organisational skills
It is important to ensure that all relevant paperwork is filed correctly and can be obtained if required.
Due to the nature of the retail environment, the store often requires you to work additional hours to meets the business needs, it is important that you are flexible enough to facilitate this.
• Letter writing skills & word processing
This is a vital skill for this role to ensure that we meet the needs of our customers and provide a good service.
• Note taking skills
When the shop is busy, it will often be necessary for you to take customer's details to pass on to a salesperson when they are available. Writing detailed notes saves the time of both the salesperson and the customer and maintains the professional service we look to provide our customers.
