About the role

 

The Operations Coordinator will offer front line support for Co-operative Personal Travel Advisors and Freedom Consortia Members with pre and post bookings.

 

About the department / team

 

The operations team provide operational and administration support to The Co-operative Personal Travel Advisors and The Freedom Travel Group. Based in our brand new Manchester city centre offices, our main priority is to support our members to allow them to focus on their customers and business

 

Key accountabilities / responsibilities

 

Handling telephone calls to & from customers to deal with booking amendments or payments, managing email communication from suppliers and customers and allocating work to the relevant departments, preparing customer travel documentation which include tickets and confirmations. 

  • Ensure that we have accuracy and consistency within work, we aim for one touch point resolutions either by phone or email
  • Focus on exceptional service levels for our members and customers and monitor and coach our teams to deliver this
  • Front line support for Co-operative Personal Travel Advisors and Freedom Consortia Members
  • Ensure smooth process for new members and closures liaising with industry bodies and the wider organisation
  • Investigate and solve problem issues and queries in a timely and efficient manner with minimum disruption to the customer, minimising losses to help the profit margin.

 

 

Skills and experience

 

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Excellent numerical and written skills
  • Able to work and adapt to pressurised situations
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office packages
