Thomas Cook Money is a holiday bank.  We want to make holiday money easy for customers by helping them save, borrow, spend and protect themselves in a fun and rewarding way.  We are embarking on a 5 year journey fixing what we have today, building a new customer proposition we can be proud of, then growing that proposition into new geographies.

As Delivery Manager you will be responsible for managing the delivery of TCM projects as a result of business demand from our strategy, product or markets.

You will provide a centre of expertise for delivery of business and technical solutions for the Thomas Cook Money business.  Working with the Commercial & Technology team and external partners you will ensure that solutions and functionality delivered meet the business needs and comply with technical policies.

Additional accountabilities will include:

• Set up the teams required to delivery and manage the delivery of technology projects for TCM, delivering the future solutions through close engagement with various partners and suppliers
• Ensuring  technical designs for delivery of new services and functionalities by the external supply base, for infrastructure and application development are aligned to the technology strategy and platform
• Providing advice and guidance on all technical issues related to Thomas Cook Money IT area for the systems deployed across the Thomas Cook
• Translating technical issues into business language that can be clearly articulated and understood by the wider business community

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Evidence of delivering major technical change in a large organisation or fast moving start up with strong project management experience
• Ability to influence at all levels, able to provide persuasive fact-based arguments to comply with standards and policies
• Very strong technology background, with a focus on, technical architectures, compliance and standards
• Thorough understanding of one or all of: websites, integration layer (API) and network topology
• Very strong knowledge of technology solutions and technical platforms and an ability to translate this knowledge into solutions
• Experienced in translating business strategy into technology strategy
• Strong ‘can do’ attitude

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Extensive experience within a Technical IT Project Manager role
• Project Management qualification
