We are now accepting applications for a Customer Claims Executive that will be based in Leeds, who will have responsibility for providing strong support as part of a small team in ensuring the smooth operation of the outsourced Customer Claims function. This role is to ensure no brand damage to brand reputation or our customers, by acting as an interface with specialist experience of claims handling within Thomas Cook. You will also have regular communication with the legal outsourced providers and other internal and external suppliers is required to support the flow of information and advice to deliver a first class claims handling experience to Thomas Cook and our customers. Strong administrative and organisational skills are vital to the success of this role.
This exciting opportunity involves handling incoming correspondence and to manage, distribute and reply accordingly, controlling the flow of work to the relevant team and setting up new claims on the complaint management system whilst ensuring all information is accurately recorded. Dealing with requests for information/documentation promptly is also a key aspect of the role along with arranging payments, ensuring case data remains accurate and that relevant internal/external teams are informed/updated as required.

What we need from you
The ideal candidate should have excellent organisational skills and be a fast learner whilst using own initiative along with being capable with IT skills and ability to learn systems. They should also display a decisive and calm approach with strong negotiation skills. A proven track record of achieving results along with excellent communication skills through both telephone and e-mail are also a requirement. We are also looking for the ability to display discretion and confidentiality at all times and to show flexibility and adaptability to own the role and responsibilities.
