As a Thomas Cook Retail Sales Consultant you’ll be helping our customers plan their dream holidays. You’ll need fantastic communication skills but we’ll also make sure you receive industry leading training to help you develop along a clear career path within our Retail network and beyond. You will be promoting a wide range of exciting Thomas Cook holiday products as well as Cruise, Luxury and even Weddings. You’ll also be selling holiday money so there’s a lot to keep you busy!
We have nearly 800 shops across the UK and put our customer at the heart of everything we do. To make sure we are available when our customers need us some of our stores are open in the evening and over the weekend, so you’ll need to be flexible with your working hours. We operate on variable shifts to cover this but we’ll make sure you know your shift pattern at least 4 weeks in advance.

Your experience and development when joining Thomas Cook are really important to us. From day one in role within our Retail team you will join a network of new employees to complete a five week induction process.
During your first five weeks of employment you will need to be able to work 37.5hrs per week (5 days over 7) to ensure you have all the knowledge you need to work as a Travel Expert. In week two of your five week induction you will spend four days at our Peterborough Head Office (staying overnight in a local hotel) where you will meet other new Retail colleagues and complete training together.
We have planned start dates each month throughout the year. If you are invited to interview, your interviewer will be able to explain more about this and answer any questions that you have.
