What we offer:
As an Apprentice Sales Consultant, you’ll earn a salary whilst you learn. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn commission through achieving your sales targets. Not only will you achieve a nationally recognised qualification (Travel Services at Level 2 and 3 (in Scotland) or Travel Consultant Apprenticeship Standard at Level 3), you’ll also gain real life work experience, which will form the foundation of your career.
You’ll need to be prepared to work hard in a fast paced environment, learn on the job and adapt quickly to change. You’ll receive sales and customer service training and will learn all about foreign exchange, but you must have the desire and determination to succeed in a sales environment, promoting additional products and services. You’ll also need to use in-store technology to demonstrate your digital skills, delighting our customers and bringing their holiday enquiry to life.
The Recruitment Process
Your start date will be shortly after you receive your offer of employment from us.
What you’ll need:
You’ll commit to successfully completing your apprenticeship/s over a period of 20-24 months. You’ll need to actively participate in training workshops and complete work towards your qualification within the agreed timescales. As part of the apprenticeship you may also be required to work towards qualifications in functional skills in English and Maths. You’ll have to be flexible – retail opening hours include weekends and bank holidays.
