What will you do?
- Managing day to day tasks within the Quality Assurance department, ensuring internal compliance with our Quality Management Systems and externally with all legislative requirements
- To investigate and action any potential recalls
- Generating key technical KPI data and compiling reports on customer complaints
- Working closely with other internal departments to ensure continuous quality improvement
- Managing the customer complaints, ensuring all complaints are thoroughly investigated and responded to in a timely manner and working with our supply base to drive complaint reduction
- Overseeing supplier complaint performance and driving continuous improvement
- Providing technical guidance to the complaints team and ensuring team members are driven, motivated and work towards quality driven results for the business
- Oversee, and give guidance to, EHO / TSO complaints
- Manage all non-food customer complaints, giving guidance where required, testing samples and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage the sensory analysis programme to ensure our products meet our high quality requirements compared to the rest of the market
- Use sensory analysis to develop products
- Manage external sensory analysis partners
- Trend analysis and reporting of sensory testing
What will you need?
- Degree educated or equivalent in a food related discipline
- Proven, substantial experience working either in food manufacturing or in a retail environment
- Experience managing a small team in a similar position
- Experience in direct customer and supplier interfaces
- Excellent knowledge of BRC, HACCP and QMS standards
- Excellent attention to detail
- German language is desirable but not essential
- Full, clean driving licence
