Consultant - SAP HCM (Payroll) - 7 month contract - full-time - Wimbledon - South London

Job description

Our HR/Personnel Systems team is working with Lidl International on a global SAP based personnel system (SAP GPS) implementation project in a pilot capacity.  The new system will support digitalisation of core Personnel administration tasks across Lidl UK, moving away from paper based practices. This is a global SAP HR consolidation project, which will significantly change local HR & Payroll processes currently performed in a standalone SAP Payroll system.  

What will you do?
  • Support UK Payroll team with technical queries
  • Implement configuration changes in SAP HR
  • Manage quarterly OSS releases & support packages
  • Provide Ad hoc project support to team members
  • Bug fixing under time pressure in production
  • Controlling uncoordinated developments from the Global team
  • Provide expert help to Global Time Management stream
  • Manage QA testing and transportation processes
 
What will you need?
  • Extensive experience in an international Payroll support function in the UK
  • Strong, demonstrable experience in SAP UK Payroll configuration
  • Solid understanding of RTI/PAE configuration and operational processes
  • Hands on debugging skills
  • ABAP reading skills to facilitate developer communication and interface support
  • Proven experience in the application of HRSP/OSS notes
  • Solid understanding of SAP Organisational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA)
  • Can do and self-starter attitude
  • Fluency in English
  • Full UK driving license
