If you are 19 years old or above this programme has been designed for you to bridge the gap between unemployment and the working world. Most employers and Recruitment Agencies are now testing IT skills at interview and see the use of IT in daily work as one of the most important skills for any non manual employment.
In addition employers look for references, recent experience and a successful interview.
At Skills Team we can offer you a comprehensive 5 day course that will improve your IT skills together with developing your interview technique and providing skills references to help you back to work. In addition our placement team will help you look and prepare for work placements currently available.
Even better this 1 week programme is FULLY FUNDED; you will pay nothing and can still receive your active benefits! All you have to do is commit to the training.
Skills Team combines our excellence in IT, Customer Service, and job search to help you develop and master all of the skills necessary to start using IT at work.
Our programme consists of:
Day 1 - Introduction to the programme and using IT
Day 2 - Diploma in IT using Microsoft Word Processing
Day 3 - Diploma in IT presentation skills with Microsoft PowerPoint
Day 4 - Award in Employability and Personal Development including CV design, interview techniques and personal development planning
Day 5 - Completion of IT training and programme wrap up
The training will be delivered in our Hammersmith centre and sessions will start at 9.30am and finish at 5.00pm.
